The GNO Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association is the largest of nine chapters around the state and represents almost 40 percent of LRA’s membership. It is governed by a board of 35 directors who represent all aspects of the local food service and hospitality industry. The LRA-GNO holds two major annual fundraisers – Taste of the Town and an annual golf tournament. Over the past 25 years, the LRA-GNO has contributed more than $1.5 million to charitable organizations, including the LRA Education Foundation, Crimestoppers, New Orleans Police & Justice-Foundation and the University of New Orleans Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Lab.
